Dear All,

The registration of the GPC 2020 is open now. For each accepted paper, one paper registration MUST be done by one of the authors before Sep. 30, 2020. Otherwise, the paper will NOT be included in the conference, published in the conference proceedings, and presented during the conference. For more details, please visit this page.

Our GPC 2020 will now be held physically on 13-15 November 2020. And we look forward to seeing you at the conference.

The GPC 2020 Organizing Committee

Welcome to GPC 2020

Green computing in the context of Pervasive and cloud Computing (GPC) is a newly-emerging research field in computer science and engineering. Pervasive computing and cloud computing are two promising paradigms in human's daily life. With the exponential growth in the deployments of techniques in pervasive computing and cloud computing, they have to face the critical issues on energy consumption, for example, controlling the energy consumed by the large-scale cloud datacenters, and prolonging the battery life of mobile/IoT devices in pervasive computing. Therefore, new architectures, systems and related techniques, such as mobile cloud computing, crowd sensing/computing, and edge computing, are being developed to make the computing in the cloud and in pervasive systems more productive and energy efficient, for shaping a "Green" world in the future.  The development of GPC will also bring benefits to the large-scale urban and social computing applications, as well as intelligent industry.

GPC 2020 is the next event in a series of highly successful events focusing on pervasive and environmentally sustainable computing. In the last years, the conference has been successfully held and organized all over the world: Taichung, Taiwan (2006), Paris, France (2007), Kunming, China (2008), Geneva, Switzerland (2009), Hualien, Taiwan (2010), Oulu, Finland (2011), Hong Kong (2012), Seoul, Korea (2013), Wuhan, China (2014), Plantation Island, Fiji (2015), Xi’an, China (2016), Coast, Italy (2017), Hangzhou, China (2018), and Uberlândia, Brazil (2019).

The information about workshops will be announced later.

The main conference will be held on November 13-15, 2020.
